I don't have to apply pressure to the unit often, so this a minor annoyance, but it is an annoyance nonetheless.

First- I am instruction manual gal- everytime I get a new product- I check out the manual. This manual and the Oreck info on their website is lacking (to say the least). I bought this to clean (yes, clean) my carpeted stair case AND to clean my stove top- But what I am finding is that the steam is no pressurized enough to pull off the stovetop gook that I can push up with my fingernail ( I know- gross, right?) AND it drips water while using that tool that focuses the steam out of one hole.

Also- the model came with water droplets already in it. Did they send me a refurb? SO when i called the Customer service (who are very good, BTW) to ask about the dripping, and to inquire whether there was a trigger to start the steam- she told me that : (1) the water drops inside were from the random testing that is done on some models prior to shipment; (2) the dripping is normal and (3) no, there was no trigger.
