As the proud owner of 13 dogs, my steamer is my best friend. The Haan is the best I've used (and I think I've tried them all). The head is larger than most, it's quiet and my floors are really clean. It's easy to get underneath furniture and along baseboards. The pads are textured and very efficient. I also purchased the short handle and used it on my mirrored closet doors. It did a great job. If it turns out to have a longer life than others I've owned I'll be thrilled.
