Hoover did right by this vacuum. My wife wanted a vacuum that was more lightweight than our old one. I researched and researched and decided on this one due to the price ($254.00), 6-year warranty, weight, simplicity, and excellent reviews.

Assembly only required sliding in the handle and inserting one screw. It's quiet, relative to our old vacuum. A vacuum is still going to make some noise. The suction is very powerful and you can really get into corners and against walls. Also, it lays very low so you can get under beds, etc.

We looked inside the bag after only going over one room and were amazed at what our old vaccum had missed. The bag is very big and a snap to change.
