I bought this sweeper to use on my tile in my new house. I have a few cats and they will get litter on the tile. This sweeper works pretty good for what I bought it for. I can't see using this sweeper at all on carpets, it just doesn't work on carpets or rugs. On the tile however it does pick up larger items, cat hair and little scraps of paper. I do have to go slow and sometimes go over the area twice for it to pick up really well for me. The product itself seems a little cheaply made though, I was expecting better, however I am not very disappointed, just a little.
