I have old hardwood floors that will eventually be refinished. In the mean time, paste wax protects and keeps them looking nice. I use the machine to put the paste wax on and then change to a buffing pad and buff the dried wax. The only complaint that I might mention is the pads sometimes come off and fly across the room.
